Borderlands 2 Binary Loot mod mini update

I also managed to get the tray put back together.

I need to get some more free time so I can get some real progress made on this case.

Christmas Present Testing

So what have I been up to?  Lately, going to work and sleeping.  Busy busy busy.  I did manage to make it down to my Dad's house to test the computer parts he bought for my brother's families computer for Christmas though.

I put them all together and booted it up to make sure they work.

The trick now will be sneaking them into his computer, or they can just wait till the holiday whatever works.

Bordlands 2 Binary Loot Mod Update

I started on my build, finally.  This phase is the deconstruction.  I took this old shell and stripped her down.

A touch of flat black to improve the look of the tray.

Hawken Closed Beta 2

There is another Hawken beta on this weekend.
I've played one round so far and it already feels much better than beta one.
Damage output is more consistent and there are nice HUD improvements.
I have to admit, it now has the usual F2P sniper is OP syndrome though. :(
I'm going to try playing a few more rounds and see how it goes.

Update:
Highlights:
1. Game joining has much improved.  I didn't have any trouble hopping into matches and kicking butt.
2. More customization options.
3. There is a more solid feel for getting hits.  The last beta I had trouble telling if I was even damaging anything.
4.  XP, getting experience to improve your mech is always good.

Bad:
1. Snipers are over powered in maps that have wide open spaces or high verticals.
2. Spawn campers.  Just like in any other game you have the dbags that have to use lame tactics because they aren't any good and want to pad their epeen scores.

RT 7 Lite 64Bit

What am I doing today?
I am building a custom Windows 7 64bit ISO for the OS on my new build when I get around to making it.  This will strip a lot of the unneeded garbage out of Windows 7 and save precious SSD space.

I'm using this guide by PizzaMan at OCN as the base for my ISO.

I then installed it in a virtual machine to test out the new installer image.
Here are the results of the stripping process on the ISO.

Defense of the Ancients 2

I just got an invite to play Dota 2.  I've never played a Dota game before so I'll let you know how it goes.

Update:
I played one game so far and right now I suck at DotA.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive

Steam free weekend of CS:GO!
I think I've gotten too old to play classic counter strike, but the gun game style modes that have been added in GO are fun to play.  Classic is just too hard to play if you don't play on  a regular basis.  I had a good time in the two gun game styled modes though.
